Sunday 27th July - walks *** – Martlesham and Felixstowe – mainly cloudy.

We didn’t do anything yesterday being carnival day in Felixstowe which we avoid due to the crowds, also a little fed-up at I some how deleted all my photos taken this month and my foil mast is stuck solid in my board! We had plans today though heading over to my Dads bungalow in Ipswich to meet up with my sister to weed the garden for the last time as its very close to be sold, we actually meet the young couple who are buying it, very nice they are too and wish them much happiness in their first home together! The weeding went well, we filled the van with more stuff from the garage/shed and then drove over to park at Martlesham church for our picnic lunch in the van. It was threatening rain but we went on a short walk to get some air. Through the church, there was a band playing loudly in a garden nearby, sadly it rather spoilt the peace and quiet especially as the young lady had a voice that hurt your ears! We ended up at Martlesham creek, through the boat yard, through the wood and up the hill and back to the van, short but sweet! Taking the scenic route back to Felixstowe where we sorted out the van, a run to the dump tomorrow! Our neighbours just leaving to walk the dogs said there was a fly past by a Lancaster bomber so I walked down to the beach to watch, a tad chilly it was too! After missing the good drone display last night we might walk down to see the fireworks later?

PS - I headed down to watch the fireworks and got wet feet as the tide came up, Mag stayed at home to watch gardening programs:)
